Where can you see a fireworks display this weekend?
Fancy visiting a fireworks display this weekend? There might be a show close to home, or perhaps you are looking for a reason to spend an evening across the border. The Vuurwerk Pyro’s United fireworks calendar lists scheduled displays. Search by town or organiser and filter by date, country and region.

How to find a fireworks display for this weekend
Open the calendar and set the start date to the Friday of your chosen weekend. Select a country and, if needed, a region. Check the listings for Friday, Saturday and Sunday: setting a start date may also show events taking place after the weekend.
Already have a destination in mind? Search for the town name. Use the location feature to look for displays nearby.
Open a display that interests you and check its date, start time and location. If the time is still to be announced, no confirmed start time has been listed yet.
Fireworks in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany
You do not have to limit your search to your home town. If you live near a border, a display in a neighbouring country may also be an option. Compare the distance and your return journey before deciding.
A fireworks display may be part of a funfair, village celebration, festival or town celebration. Make sure you distinguish between the event’s opening time and the start of the fireworks. An afternoon start to the programme does not mean the display takes place then.
Check the display before you set off
A calendar listing helps you choose an evening out. On the day itself, also check the organiser’s information using the event link, where one is available.
Pay particular attention to:
- Date and start time: has the programme changed?
- Status: is the display still scheduled, postponed or cancelled?
- Viewing location: where should spectators go?
- Admission: is the display freely accessible or do you need a ticket?
- Travel: where can you park, and will public transport still be running for your return journey?
Strong winds or other unfavourable conditions may lead an organiser to change the programme. A final check before leaving can save you a wasted journey.
Are fireworks displays free?
It depends on the event. Some town celebrations and funfairs let you watch the fireworks for free. A festival or display at an enclosed venue may require an admission ticket.
Do not assume a display is free simply because no price is listed. Check the event website for admission conditions and any booking requirements.
No display listed for this weekend?
Try a wider search area or remove the region filter. You can also look at a later weekend and plan an outing in advance.
The calendar is an overview of the displays that have been listed. An empty result does not automatically mean there are no fireworks anywhere. Know of a public display that is missing? Submit it for review using the add-show feature. If an existing listing is incorrect, use the report-a-problem feature.
Choose a display and plan your evening
As “this weekend” means different dates every week, individual displays appear in the calendar rather than a fixed list in this article. This lets you select the date and area that suit your plans.
